An idea to make the holster cheaper is to have a DIY kit where the end user stitches it themselves. This would remove the labour cost, the stitch holes could be laser cut.

 

I had a wallet that I got from a kickstarter years ago like this. It came with the leather parts, a needle and enough thread to stitch it. I used that wallet for years and still have it, the only reason I no longer use it is because it was too small.

 

This would open the possibility of custom coloured stitching, as all you would have to do is put a different coloured thread in the pack.

I wish the holster had molle on it so I could slip it onto an airsoft belt and make my own tool belt
