A Build from the past

radeon 5450 or if you want to go green team gt610

Good day LTT Forumers!

I recently found a pc build from the past I tried to revive it and it was successful

all it needed was cleaning and drying.

So here are it's specs

Foxconn 45cmv (http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDetail.aspx?T=Motherboard&U=en-us0000362)

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 3.0 Ghz

2560MB RAM 1333

I want it to run MMORPG games like Dota 2 or LoL but it does not have a videocard. so the framerate might be super low.

what do you think will be the best videocard for this set-up because I'm afraid that it will bottleneck entry-level videocards.

Thanks!

I'm currently getting rid of one like that.

The 750Ti would be a good choice.

My E8400 bottlenecks 7750 so 750ti is massive overkill.

Spoiler

12700, B660M Mortar DDR4, 32GB 3200C16 Viper Steel, 2TB SN570, EVGA Supernova G6 850W, be quiet! 500FX, EVGA 3070Ti FTW3 Ultra.

Will a 5570 2gb ddr3 be bottlenecked?

Nope, good choice.

I have a old rig I fold on with a 5770 and a E7500 @ 3.4 Ghz and I was curious one day if it could still play's games and it's fine does fine at 1440x900, it just gets a little bit lower min FPS vs another old folding rig with a Q6600 @ 2.8 Ghz and another 5770 in the multi threaded areas of some games.

What cooling do you use for your e7500 to get that clock speed?

I kinda Oc'ed it too... to 3.1 ghz.. I get 38C-48C.. you think I can go higher?

Depend on the motherboard most can only do 400 Mhz if it's an economy chipset, I got 500 Mhz with the MSI G31 board and only 400Mhz with the Asus G41 board with the Q6600.
