Cooler master mf120

So I just got my cooler master fans and I plugged everything in and connected the controller to the motherboard using the USB header like it showed. Problem is none of the software like aura sync or mystic lighting are detecting my fans even though it says on the box that it's compatible

If you are using USB connection, then you are going to use CoolerMasters software for controls. If you connect RGB directly to mobo, then you would use mobos software which depends on which mobo you have. Aura is Asus software, Mystic Light is MSI software.
