So I have a good amount of money in my bank and I'm going to buy a new PC for general use/photo editing/Light to medium gaming.

1)I live in Australia and I don't mind shipping things if it's (include shipping)though local dealers like cpl and pccg are preferred

2)I need windows, an IPS monitor and a keyboard and mouse preferably gaming.

3)If it can be fit I do like the look of the nzxt h440. I'd also like an ssd if it does not impede on the build

Thanks in Advance

Go for an APU build at this budget.

I didn't include monitor, or peripherals, because they're partially personal taste, and I'm not super knowledgeable on the subject.

I left you $450 to play with though.

Also, SSD :D

EDIT: Get this RAM instead. It's a tad more (15 bucks?), but APU's get MUCH better performance from faster RAM.

I'd agree with SAV1OUR, there isn't much you can do with that budget, I'd save up a bit longer to make sure you can include an SSD with that though. If you can then save up a bit more and grab the H440 then even better.

I disagree. There are plenty of builds for under $600usd(not including peripherals) that can still game at 1080p on most games

An APU isn't that good of a value. I would get an Athlon 760k and an r7 260

He's doing light to medium gaming, general use, and photo editing...

My APU cost 209, your 260 is 169 at cheapest, add in the CPU (not sure how much it would cost, PCP doesn't have it.), and you're well over what I wrote up.

APU's are a good value, and run most games at high settings.

He doesn't need a dedicated GPU, lets not hit his budget max, if we don't have to.

TBH, if wanted, an a8-5600k would probably work just fine too, for 109.
