Not yet no the usual staples havent been refreshed (lenovo legion, asus g,...)

 

Current gen is still 3000 series as the 40 series is a paper launch in laptops rn. Expect them to really be around when intel and amd refresh their cpu's. Manufacturers dont like making multiple gen versions of the same new laptop

A laptop with a decent current gen gpu and an i7 or the amd equivalent, with most priority on atlas the 2 hours of battery life

Imagine everything i have written in a Linus Voice/ linus tone (Spock live long and prosper gif here ,idk why tho, i guess i just want to say that i like star trek and am waiting for new seasons of the ongoing shows), But seriously, a lot of what i type only makes sense when said in a Linus tone from an older ltt video (circa 2017-2019 & now 2024-onwards) basically before he got a beard and a lot of it should make sense even in a Linus with a beard face.

also note as per the latest typing test on my laptop, my accuracy is 69%

 

I'm not weird/creepy, I'm just observant I have ADHD and am not on any meds for it because I don't want to and don't need to be on meds. i also may just be depressed. If you find other things around you depressing, are you depressed or are you surrounded by depressing things?

Budget, 3500 usd, use case: gaming, productivity 2 hours while playing minecraft bedwars

One can always get an additional external battery, but sort of yeah.  Part of the problem is air travel.  They limit the amount of battery you can bring onto a plane which creates an effective maximum.  Two separate batteries gets around it though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

also im in india where availability of the latest laptops is not the best, for example, lenovo is not letting me see any 13th gen products

DO NOT get a blade. They have a 1 year lifespan they are HORRIBLE laptops and are very known to break after 1-2 years of use due to them being made as low quality products

Yeah just a legion 5i or pro with a 12700 (or if you wait a bit the 13700) and a 3070 will do nicely. 2 hours of use in minecraft is not a given even with the largest battery.

 

Just don't get a razer blade you'll be shopping again for a new laptop within 2 years. THey don't even have that good battery life and can not cool themselves like at all.

I believe I had asked for a 40 series gpu option laptop suggestion

The only ones currently out are the razer blade (bad), Msi gf63 (bad) and gigabyte g5 (ok but it's a lower end laptop and doesn't handle i7's well).

That says intel (apparently AMD is hard to get in India anyway but you don’t want it anyway). Photoshop says fast cores and lots and lots of memory.  Quantity over quality.  Macs start to look good for that, but they’re crap for gaming.
