Hello !

I have Arc A770 16GB and a Celeron G6900 with UHD Graphics 710.

I would like to test HyperEncode but Intel does not provide the complete information about it, or says it is enabled automatically for systems with Arc and 12th / 13th gen CPUs.

I know HyperEncode requires AVC, HEVC or VP9, and works for ultra resolutions like 8K@60 or 4K@120.

So I did the following:

  - opened freshly installe3d HandBrake,

  - select an HEVC video 3840x1608

  - select hardware preset H.265 QSV 2160p 4K

  - encoding still uses only 100%CPU + 40% Arc GPU, but no UHD 710 iGPU...

Can you help me choose the right settings to encode a video with HyperEncode ?

Thank you,

Adrian Constantin

Since your cpu is at 100% im guessing thats the limit here.

You probably want to have the gpu do the video encoding also, thats what I'm guessing your cpu is busy doing. Try using ffmpeg as it allows you to select the video decorder that is being used.
