hey everyone, so i am tired of bringing my "craptop" to my friends house so imma build a LAN portable desktop pc. so i was thinking, i dont really need a boss gpu on this thing, so maybe a APU with a R7 240/250. my budget is approximately $400 without OS. could i get "yall" to make up some parts lists?

I'll do a PCPartPicker to post in a bit but wouldn't something like a GTX 750 Ti be a better option for a cheap ITX rig for a LAN part? You could also get an Athlon CPU on the FM2 platform to keep the cost down.

as cheap as possible, ill mostly be playing minecraft on this thing so even a $80 gpu on its own would be more then enough, i even think the R7 240 is like $60 or somthing

Why don't you put your current pc in this? http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1532&products_id=24730&zenid=8c9dbb090f9d9cfb088dbc8edef4f07f

Maybe upgrade the cpu/ gpu with the money left over. It's better then having 2 low end pc's.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

I don't see the point, you should have a single better pc then 2 average ones.

You are strong I couldn't cope with a FX 4130 and my secondary being even slower.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w
