iOS 16+ changing folder icon to a custom icon

Splashboy3

Hi all- this might not be the most accurate place to post this, but-

I was trying to sift thru the hundreds of influencer tutorials out there to find an easy guide on how to replace not the *app icons* but instead, the app folders themselves.

Weirdly not much specific info on this, as idc about changing the app icons to something custom but rather just the folder icons themselves.

Could anyone help me out with this?

Thanks!

The reason you can't find a guide is that folders are a function of the standard iOS UI. Apps you can replace by making a shortcut to the app and assigning it a custom icon, there is no way I know of to do that with a folder aside from jailbreaking in order to do custom stuff with SpringBoard.
