i know its more than $800, going by the rule your gpu should be the most expensive part in your system

It actually really depends on everything you need to buy. Just the computer I would say between 600-1500 hundred US dollars. Throw in keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, headphones, then I would say at least 800-1700 dollars. It really depends on what you want and what you get. You can build pretty cheap but if you want really good performance then you are going to have to spend more.
