Hello everybody, I've recently started having issues with my wireless g733 headset and my hyperx quadcast mic. First with the g733 headset, I got these replaced by logitech because the previous ones I had will start having static noises coming out of the headset and also randomly will start screaming in tv static through the headset really hurting my ears so the replacement after awhile will do the same thing so I thought ok screw this im gonna just get wired earbuds and connect it to my hyperx quadcast. The hyerpx quadcast with my earbuds connected will make a shock sound come through, turn off, turn back on immediately, and the audio going through my earbuds will start to sound muffled and static. At this point I'm starting to think there is something wrong with my pc and I want to know if its my motherboard or power supply that could be causing the issue?

The first thing that comes to mind is that you have an improper ground somewhere but since the problem exists no matter what you're using for listening then that would most likely mean the problem is something that is common no matter what you're doing.  The thing that is most common to no matter what you're doing is the PSU.  Sorry, I appear to be ramblin on so what I'm trying to say is check the PSU first.  Make sure the computer is plugged into the wall and that the wall socket has a proper ground connected to it.

I do have it connected to a power strip with like several other stuff plugged into, maybe that is the issue. I'll connect it to the wall and give it a shot, be back with an update.

There is the possibility the power strip you're using does NOT have the proper grounding.  So, at this point in the game, I would either surmise the problem is either the strip does not have the proper grounding or the wall does not have the proper grounding.  Either way, you wouldn't get proper grounding.  Good Luck.
