Will there be Ryzen 7000 actual APUs ?

Pheonix will be monolithic apu style of old
Pheonix is 4nm(varient of 5nm, like what ADA lovelace uses).

As for the people calling all of zen 4 an apu cause it has 2 CUs.... nah bruh thats not what an APU is. Here we get 12, or 8 CUs of RDNA 3
7900 xtx has 96CUs for reference.

Pheonix also has this weirdness

Something like "Ryzen 7700G" or will new APUs arrive on 8000 series?

All Zen4 and newer are APU-s.

I have seen rumors of Ryzen 7000 series APUs, but so far only rumors. If the previous APUs are anything to go by, they will be part of a mid-cycle refresh and basically be overclocked laptop chips - presumably from the 7X40 series of laptop chips.

What I'm really hoping for is a 4c/8t Ryzen 3 7300G for around $120. Such a chip would be amazing. But I doubt we'll see it as AMD has little need to offer budget choices.

Ohhh I see.
Yeah, the iGPU on the 7000-series is like 1/2 the performance vs.... 5600G.

Supposedly there should / could be a Ryzen 7000G series, but nothing has been confirmed on the Desktop side.

On the LAPTOP side, there IS something like this.

The Ryzen 7045 series. It is Zen4 + 12x RNDA3 GPU clusters (vs Desktop 7000-series with only 2x RDNA3 GPU clusters)
Marketed as a thin-light iGPU gaming.

Be neat if they did something like a special high performance graphic skew, call it the Ryzen XGxxT just to make sure we get our fill of x's, with how small the chiplets are getting and the lga socket type they could definitely fit a decent GPU die on there, even if it could do 1080 1080ti ish performance would be sweet option for people doing small form builds

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

How is it weird?  Apple and Intel have AI in their chips, AMD just went one step further in putting tech they got from Xilinx into theirs which from the above I assume is 35% faster.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
