Will there be Ryzen 7000 actual APUs ?
@Hi P
Yes, there will be zen 4 APUs on both desktop and laptop
Two lines Dragon range and Pheonix.
Dragon range will use the same multichip package that you know and love, it is rumored that at some point it will be an actual APU as in use the second die space to be a gpu, but as of now, we do not know if they will ever be launched, the only variants that are confirmed to that exist only have the 2 rnda 2 CUs
Pheonix will be monolithic apu style of old
Pheonix is 4nm(varient of 5nm, like what ADA lovelace uses).
We do not have the specific line ups for when pheonix will be on desktop, or if dragon range will ever get desktop varients that actually matter.
But that is the line up of Pheonix APUs that will be available begining in march.
As for the people calling all of zen 4 an apu cause it has 2 CUs.... nah bruh thats not what an APU is. Here we get 12, or 8 CUs of RDNA 3
7900 xtx has 96CUs for reference.
Pheonix also has this weirdness
