Hey guys, i have recently bought a PS4 and use it in my bedroom which is about 15-25 meters from my router through around 3-4 walls. and my connection to game servers has pooed itself im getting a 9.89% packet loss in Australian battlefield 4 servers (using the built in connection tester within BF4) will getting a powerline adapter solve this issue without the need of running an ethernet cable as that is not an option (renting the house, and dont fancy wirels laying on the floor)

That's pretty much exactly what powerlines are for.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Yes it will help. But be aware that power line has its own set of issues. And the reliability of the connection will be dependant on the quality of the wires within your house. But it will certainly be better than wireless.

FYI on powerline - some have an optional plug to be able to also plug something in. Don't. Each location where the powerline adapter is plugged in, don't plug anything else into that outlet. It will just add interference. Make sure the poweline is plugged right into the wall jack and not a powerbar or such.

^This, I had interference and it was causing internet resets at random.

Sometimes it won't, sometimes its every 5-10 mins, always random intervals, but happens still quite frequently.

A new house, but router is at the other end of the house, long way to travel and easy to pick up interference.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
