Weird colour difference on the monitor

I was watching a show and noticed a weird colour difference on my monitor that i havent noticed before. It doesnt show on bright backgrounds on Monitor tests but on shades like grey, it really shows, anyone know what it is and what could be causing it? Also, will this get worse or just kind of stay like this. The monitor for reference is an Asus ROG Swift PG278QE.

It's typical for a monitor this old and yes it will keep getting worse.

Honestly until it starts bothering you too much, don't worry about it and only then replace it.
