Decent low-mid range photo printer suggestions?

Cris.py

Hello all,

I'm trying to find a decent but not too pricy printer to print art onto special canvas paper. The idea is to go for best possible color accuracy with printing and everyone suggest photo printers for such application.

I know nothing about printers tho. I tried to look on Rtings but I couldn't find anything too useful as it's behind paywall.

Most forums suggest Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8550 however it is way out of my budget.

What I can find in my budget is:
- Epson EcoTank Photo HD XP-15000 (300 eur)

- Epson EcoTank ET-2810 (200 eur)

- Epson EcoTank ET-4800 (290 eur)

Anyone knows anything about these? I would like to stay within 200-300 eur range. Any other suggestions?

The HD XP-15000 is bigger. (Able to print onto A3 paper sizes double A4 size).
The ET-2810 has a scanner built in wich can be handy, but you will pay extra for that.
The ET-4800 has besides a scanner also copy and fax options which you can see, you pay for.

I would not be surprised (complete guess) if they all use the same printheads/resolution. So then the cheaper would be best option if you dont need the extra's.
Also note that inkjet printer-heads can clog after a while of not being used. (will needs couple months maybe even a year to do so)

For the rest im not informed enough to tell you about the quality of the prints, just hoping this info makes choosing a bit easier. 🙂

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!
