Ram frequency

Ive just built my rig but cant get my ram to run at 3600mhz. Specs are ryzen 5800x. Strix b550 gaming. Corsair 4x 8gb rt pro 3600mhz. Gigabyte Rtx 3070. Ive turned on docp and can have tge ram running automatically at 3200. But as soon as i change the values to 3600 i get boot loop to bios. Any help apreciated.

Running the latest BIOS? Newer BIOS's can have lots of RAM optimizations.

The latest Bios is 2806, you can check in CPU-Z if you're using that.

 

XMP (DOCP) is overclocking, with 4 sticks it's hard to go above 3600 with Zen3 and some CPU-s with weaker memory controllers (factory variance) can't even do 3600 with 4 slots filled, especially if the RAM isn't all the exact same (you can check with Passmark RamMon or Thaiphoon Burner) or if the RAM isn't on the motherboard QLV list.

Check your mobo QVL for the memory and your cpu. Certain Corsair stick can’t be paired up with each other.
