Kernel Power 41 / PC crashes only when playing games

I've had this issue since i bought this computer (brand new) around 6 months ago and never could fix it. It happens mostly in games but also outside of them (though less often)

When it crashes the pc stays on and the fans keep spinning but there is no display and all the connected devices like keyboard/mouse turn off, you have to cut all the power away/turn off the psu for around 10 seconds to turn it on again. There is no blue screen.

Things i've tried

-all the fixes from youtube

-tests like furmark/memtest

-updating/deleting useless drivers

-tweaking bios settings

-turning off fast boot

-tweaking windows power settings

-numerous scans

-sending back the power supply to the manufacturer just to hear "we ran a diagnosis and nothing was wrong with it" after 45 days

-updating bios and downloading everything motherboard related

-uninstalling all programs like nvidia experience, razer synapse itd...

I've really tried everything i found and nothing fully stopped though some things made it crash slightly less often.

Pc Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

MSI MPG A750GF 750W 80 Plus Gold

Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2

Does your GPU use the latest available gpu bios?

The chipset drivers, did you download them from AMD or Gigabyte?

Is the RAM on the motherboard QLV list? If not, the XMP profile might be unstable, maybe try profile 2 (3200).

Tried disabling MultiPlane Overlay mpo?

How do the temperatures behave?

Latest bios on thr board?

1. If you mean drivers then yes but not bios. Also is flashing the same thing as updating?

2. Gigabyte

3. No but it didnt matter if xmp was turned on or off it would crash any way.

4. Yes.

5. I have no way to check. Is there any software that can log temperatures before a crash?
6. Yes

6. Yes

I don't mean the drivers, I mean the vBios (GPU firmware). Flashing isn't the same as updating; updating is for programs, it runs under an OS, flashing means putting the firmware (software) into the hardware; programming the eeprom (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory).

Download chipset drivers from AMD. Board manufacturers don't post the latest. The latest chipset driver fixes stability issues, AMD stated it fixed some BSOD and black screen issues.

You can monitor temperatures using HWMonitor, HWInfo64, OpenHardwareMonitor - some of them even feature logging the data. Or you can use an overlay like MSI Afterburner - RivaTuner.

1. I cannot find any vBios files for my exact gpu or anything. Do you have any tutorials or something? All i find it flashing.
2. Just did that right now and started logging with HWinfo64.

Techpowerup has vbios database.
