image.png.da7cc454296d936560181e15fb28be31.pngI am having a devils time trying to get my new build to power on. I (stupidly) saved money on a cheap Chinese case which has the attached 6 pin adapters going from the fans. I cant find anywhere for these to fit on my Gigabyte Arusha Elite X570s UD MOBO. Do I need adapters? FYI Ryzen 7 5800X3d CPU. AMD 6700XT GPU. M.2 SSD. 2X 16GB ram. Corsair 1000W PSU.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. James

it is a propreitery connector you have to get the fanhub that with the case to make it work. Or You could get 4Pin adapters and remove the cables from this and rewire it to the adapter (you have to find the right wires though i doubt there is any marking on the wires).

Excellent. So massively appreciate this. I believe I’ve located the hub you spoke of which has (Images attached below) 6 pin slots for these to go into. Then the hub I have connected using a (SATA I think they’re called) cable straight into my PSU, does this seem correct to your widened eyes. Huge appreciation

Welcome to the forums!
That's some mega BS.
Honestly, given the PC specs, a solid 100$ case is the least you could do. They look better, cool better, and can make maintenance significantly easier. the LL O11, Corsair 4000air, or, my personal fave, the Phanteks P400A Mesh.

If I hadn’t skimped in certain areas I wouldn’t have been able to afford the specs. Prices are exceedingly high in England at the moment. I’ve never owned a computer, just used one at work, so I am learning as I go and fully expect to make a lot of mistakes. Its how we learn. I will have a look at the cases you suggested, thanks. I had made the decision to get a better one, not too long after looking at it closer. Even a complete novice like me could tell I’d have to get a proper one going forward. Anyway, if I can’t get the ruddy thing to show any sources of life, cases will be irrelevant

I have managed to get the RGB and Fans to turn on when I switch my Power Supply on (Not when I press the On/Off switch on the case itself which has me believing I have the Power Switch wired incorrectly) I also have power to my CPU Cooler Fan, However still nothing on my monitor which is brand new dell Touchscreeen. Ive added photos showing the 2 Power S/W wires and the 2 Power LED wires and how they are plugged in. Along with how the monitor is plugged in using both HDMI and USB (I think). Have you any idea where I’m going wrong?

It does say ‘press a key on keypad or move mouse’ on my monitor briefly before going into standby mode, but how can I do that with Bluetooth mouse and keyboard that isn’t yet paired with to the PC? Is there another way? Could it be as simple as I just need to get a wired keyboard and press a key? I would of thought the bios screen would be there when you switch the whole system on?

This is killing me! Been 2 months bookending emergency Stomach surgery over Christmas
