Duplicated and extended desktop at the same time?

I'm not trying to do this, nor am I in need of it in the near future, but would it be possible to have 3 monitors attatched to the same pc, and have 2 of them duplicated while the 3rd is in extended mode? Is this possible in Windows, is it possible with external programs? It would be possible with an hdmi splitter, but I would like to know if and how this would be achieved in Windows. Again, theoretical question.

This is perfectly possible in Windows. You can mirror 2 displays and have the 3rd one in extend mode.
