Which 12 bits are you carrying?

helgehelge123

Heyo, I just received my Screwdriver and I love the look and feel of it but I cannot decide which bits to carry.

I'm sure i'll carry a small and large(r) - bit, philips 1, 2 and 3 and the magnet. This leaves 6 empty seats for metric hex and torx. My use cases will be some easy computer stuff, rarely some work on my VW Golf7 and things around the german household.
It should be the Screwdriver to screw it all. (I know that's not possible, but as much as possible)

What do you carry and why?

Hello !

For the time being, I replaced the 2 Robertson (Square) bits with 20 mm PZ1 and PZ2 bits, which I got with a screwdriver from Amazon, which I bought mainly for the short bits. I've also replaced the magnet (I don't use it often enough and the embedded magnet in the screwdriver is very strong) with a 4mm to 1/4" 25mm bit adapter (which I had to sand down a bit, in order to fit in the handle), because I like having it on hand. The rest, are the standard bits which were included with the screwdriver. So far this suits my needs. I also use it on occasion with the bits from the IFixit tool kits ( the Pro Tech Tool Kit and the Manta Tool Kit ), which I have.

For those interested, the screwdriver which also includes 13, 20mm short bits, costs 16.99 $ U.S. and you can buy it from Amazon. It is called: " MulWark 20pc 1/4 Ultra Low Profile Mini Ratchet Wrench Close Quarters Screwdriver Set with High Torque - Right Angle EDC Tool with 90 Degree Mini Offset Reversible Drive Handle & Multi Hex Bits Set " .

I reject the notion to "carry" and substitute my own version from China:

I swapped out the two square bits for 3 and 5 mm hex bits, much more likely to be used regularly.

I have all the other sets except the phillips set, and I keep the extras in the altoids bit box sold on Etsy.
