Hey folks, I decided to ditch my eGPU for a regular PC. Thus far I have decided on (https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/nLjsNc):

* 3060Ti

* i5-12400F

* B760M Motherboard

* 32 GB DDR5 4800 MT (I like having a lot of open tabs...)

* as well as a 8TB Seagate Barracuda HDD and a 2TB WD SN770

does anyone have recommendations for a CPU cooler and/or PSU? I don't need the necessarily cheapest parts that will work, but saving money is obviously welcome.

Also anything else terribly wrong with this buidl?

intel stock cooler. and if your main goal is gaming i will say go with AMD gpus will perform better in a budget if your Main goal is professional applications Nvidia will do the Job. and TBH if you have more than 5TB of storage need building a nas is a good idea also if you care data in the 8tb drive you need to have a proper backup on another drive if you dont care about the data you dont need 8TB you will be fine with 2TB Sn770.

DDR5 4800 is a waste of money, 1 stick too, you need at least 2 sticks of RAM to activate dual channel, single channel RAM is terrible for performance. Changed to 2X8GB DDR4 3200.

Budget from DDR5 reallocated to a better CPU, 13400F, with cheaper and great B760 board.

Deepcool AK400, cheap good cooler, enough for 13400.

PSU RM650 because weirdly nothing else is as good value in your country.
