Hi. I have 6 sticks of corsair vengeance rgb pro 8Gb cl16-18-18-36 v4.32. I added another kit so it would be 8GBx8 for a 64GB quad channel config. My question is, 1 kit is same brand corsair, same model #, same timings (CL16-18-18-36), but the difference is it is v5.32. Can I mix this kit to the 6 sticks considering it has difference IC (samsung and hynix)?

If you already have the RAM, there's no harm in trying it. Worst case is that XMP fails to boot and you need to remove the sticks.

Given that the memory controller on the 6850K has a first gen DDR4 controller, and the X99 was a first gen DDR4 board, I think there's a fair chance mixing RAM running above the rated DDR4-2400 will cause issues. But it also might work just fine.

Having different RAM ICs might hurt stuff like overclocking potential but it'll generally work, at the very least at JEDEC speeds. These still adhere to the DDR4 standard.

Had mixed Micron and SK Hynix DDR3 in my last system without issue (now have 4 Micron sticks) and the sticks ran at their rated speed just fine.
