Some subjective knowledge with this build.

My case fans stay at a fixed 50%, my fans on my AIO liquid cooler stay at a fixed 50%

Airflow is actually a bit of a problem due to the AIO radiator taking all the front space, but I will be moving to a air cooler so my 6900 XT can breathe easier.

Whilst temperatures are acceptable, GPU fan noise is not the best.

Issues I ran into.

22.11.2 driver is the only driver I have ever used and it has given me no problems, however I understand that Chromium based web browsers present problems on some peoples systems, I am one of those who don't use them so disabling MPO etc... not needed, I run Firefox.

The one game that gave me problems with my driver was actually Tekken 7, it would say device lost, for whatever reason Tekken 7's engine demands that you run the GPU stock even if the OC is stable.

Software I use whilst gaming.

I use HWINFO with RTSS to track framerate data only.

I use the Radeon softwares overlay to check temperatures, set parameters to aid gameplay such as Radeon Chill or sharpening etc.

I run my network through a VPN at all times. Nord VPN to be exact.

Malwarebytes.

SUPERAntiSpyware.

XBOX Gaming app.

The end summary.

I came from a 5700 XT back in 2020 that would black screen endlessly and I never ever found a solution, I sold it and moved to a RTX 2060, no problems, I then moved to the RTX 3070 and the black screen issue came again when I upgraded to 1440P 165hz, it was the DisplayPort cable, I had to buy an 8K VESA certified DP cable from KableDirekt, this could have been the problem with my 5700XT but at this point we can't go backwards.

Today I am using a 6900 XT and am very happy with it, it has not given me any issues outside of anything I have purposely made happen through trial and error and learning how this card behaves.

I got it for a great price and at 1440P high refresh rate it more than delivers in the majority of titles even with settings cranked.

Here are some benchmarks of my card.

Comparing Ray Tracing performance to my old RTX 3070, both balls to the wall overclocked.

The above are canned benchmarks, the 6900 XT in actual games is felt, it is hugely faster.

Some not great pics of the 6900 XT.
