What air cooler should I get for a Ryzen 5 7600x system?

Go to solution Solved by Eldaros,

I'm currently using the Noctua NH-D15S with a Ryzen 9 5950x. Keeps temps below 80C even under 100% load. I highly recommend. It comes with the mounting kit and should fit your case since it fits in my NZXT H510 mid-tower case.

Planned Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M DS3H

RAM: Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 5600Mhz 2x8gb

PSU: Corsair RM750x

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow

Hello, I'm currently planning a build around Ryzen 5 7600x and I want to choose a great air cooler. I'd prefer if it would fit out of the box, the one I've got my eyes on now is Deepcool AK620 Zero. Seems like a lot of coolers need special mounting kits.

I also could try an AIO, but I don't really know anything about them and It seems like they cost significantly more than an air cooler.

hyper 212

its a classic lol

Be quiet has some neat stuff, been looking at the dark rock series myself

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

Was the first one I checked, does require a mounting kit from what I understand though.

Also checked this one out, so It should include the mounting kit? Didn't show compatibility with am5 at my local retailers, I'll ask them.

Yes, the mounting kit is included. In the listing they say it should work with AM5 as well.

Hyper 212 is crap, crap noise, crap price-to-performance, crap mounting system.

AK620 series doesn't, it mounts on the stock AM5 backplate (you can see it in the official manual):

it's a really good choice

I would recommend Thermalright FC140.

I see it dominate AIOs and other air coolers all the time 😁

AMD R7 5800X3D | Thermalright Aqua Elite 360, 3x TL-B12, 2x TL-K12
Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero | 32GB G.Skill Trident Z @ 3733C14
Zotac 4070 Ti Trinity OC @ 3045/1495 | WD SN850, SN850X
Seasonic Vertex GX-1000 | Fractal Torrent Compact, 2x TL-B14
