Heya everyone!

After two years and two months I ran into an issue with my Valve Index. Of course just out of warranty... sure feels like planned obsolescence.

The right eye display started drawing vertical "screen door lines" that I can move to different parts of the screen when tilting my head. Screenshots are attached.

This is why I think it might be a software issue? Reinstalling Steam VR didn't help. But if the screen was broken, I wouldn't be able to "move the affected part around", right?

I didn't use the headset that much so wear is very low to non-existent. I already opened it up to have a quick peek if a ribbon cable became loose/corroded. Nope, looks pristine.

Any input is much appreciated!

Do you have any possible software updates?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?
