Have any experience with a Gigabyte aero ram upgrade (12th gen)?

Hello, I am fairly new to PCs. I built my first desktop in 2021 and recently purchased a Gigabyte Aero 17. It has 16gb of ddr5 and I wanted to upgrade. Building my desktop was one thing, but opening up my laptop is another, and I'm not as confident. Does anyone know if this is fairly simple or should I get some more experienced help for this?
