So i found a problem whille trying to convert my disk from MBR to GPT for upgrading my windows. I have system on ma C drive the primary one and then a boot manager/loader on my other drive i use for games and stuff. I tried using AOMEI Partition Assistant to clone the boot drive to the system drive but it didnt work. I tried a few other programs and followed the instructions provided but nothing worked so far and i dont know what else to do. Im trying to evade a new fresh install but if theres no other way ill have to do it. I just want some help on the problem and not the "just make a fresh install". Thanks

Use this guide (Follow the instructions for "Convert MBR to GPT partition style (offline)".)

https://www.windowscentral.com/how-convert-mbr-disk-gpt-move-bios-uefi-windows-10

mbr2gpt will convert your drive and create a new EFI boot partition

Once done head into bios,

  • disable CSM
  • and set the drive containing windows as first boot device
