Okay so today I was just chilling on the computer in discord with apex (main menu) running on my other monitor and my entire room went out, the breaker tripped for some odd reason

I turned the computer on after handling the breaker, and everything looked fine, but I did notice that now in apex I get micro-stutters that I didn’t notice before

I ran 3DMark and ran a few of their different tests and got no stutters, FPS drops (other than expected scenery change FPS drops) not even clock issues

So idk wtf is going on

I got paranoid of anything happening again cause im only running my PC on a regular grounded surge protector, so I went to Best Buy and got a 1500VA 900Watt UPS

Now I wasn’t paying much attention until after swapping to the UPS but when I usually turn off the switch in the back of the PSU it takes a little second for the mobo lights to turn off, but now when I hit the switch in the back everything is off immediately.

In my head I’m thinking shit like maybe the power outage ruined the capacitors in the PSU so it isn’t functioning normal. Is this something normal? Is the UPS causing this? or is the PSU always suppose to have that leftover draining period?
