amd gpu for main monitor and igpu for secondary monitor

gasolin

cpu or gpu thread, im not shure

I was wondering if i bought a ryzen cpu with an igpu and use my rx 6700 xt  for my 2560x1440 and the igpu (motherboard) for my 1920x1080 monitor,if i would gain anything by taking the load of my gpu from what ever is running on my secondary monitor when i game ?

Can i keep the calibration for my secondary monitor and control the setting for the igpu including freesync, anti lag and what ever i use now on my rx 6700 xt for my secondary monitor

It's not going to be anything meaningful, at all.

Unless the GPU is super weak, you might not even see any difference.

Cant see any difference with my 6800 XT, even my 1660 Ti did not yield any difference.

No, there isn't any real benefit.  The 6700XT can handle it all, the second monitor isn't impactful.

I actually think it somehow has an effect on my fps if i run 2x twitch (bot at 720 or 1080 60 fps) on my secondary monitor while gaming on my main monitor (im not at all affraid of not having enough cpu power)

If there is any linus video about the difference please link to it (or any other for that matter)

You can't run Twitch on the igpu and game on the main GPU IIRC.  It doesn't wok like that.

Why not ?

Playing a game like horizon zero down on my main monitor with my rx 6700 xt and watching my favorite twitch streamer (or youtube, tidal muisc video's) on my secondary monitor using the graphic chip on a cpu, isn't possible ?

No you can't use the igpu and a gpu at the same time. When you install a gpu the igpu turns off.

That's not true. Yes, the iGPU is automatically disabled when installing a dGPU but it's possible to enable the iGPU in the BIOS after that and the dGPU and iGPU can be used at the same time.
