RTX 4080 12vhpwr

Hey guys!

 

I made a little mistake:

I saw on the Dutch version of pc part picker that I needed a 4x pci-e to 12vhpwr cable for my ASUS rog 4080. Turns out that the photo was a copy from the 4090, as there is a 3x pci-e to 12vhwpr connector in the box.

 

now I have ordered a 4x pci-e to 12vhpwr cable from cablemod, and it hasn’t arrived yet, but it’s almost here, and now I wonder if I can still use this.

 

can I use this cable, and should I just connect all 4 pins in my psu, or only 3? Or should I order a new cable?

Connect all 4, it won't hurt.
