Which platform is better for Family Photo archive and sharing (3 iPhone user & 1 Android User)?

I'm considering maybe buy a Mac Mini for this purpose, but again the Mac need Apple ID, what about Windows 11 Pro, this one doesn't need Microsoft Account.

Maybe the photo server archiver need to use NAS ? or any suggestion?

 

I don't think I want to pay for the family sharing iCloud photo because personal reasons or any Google photo or Microsoft One Drive for that matter.

well just about any computer from the past 15 years should be able to store photos , you could almost pick anything and just run it as a server or just a stand alone archive. weathers it's apple or normal shouldn't matter too much.
