Built a new Ryzen 7000 machine back in December with what I thought was dead ram. RAMd Ram arrived with same issue.

When I got everything put together I could not get the machine to run in Dual Channel memory, to be fair it did seem like one of the sticks didn't work so I had it RMAd... The new pack came in and I've tested them each alone in one socket and these ones DO work but the motherboard still gives me a generic error C5 when trying to boot up.

Did you try other RAM in the motherboard? Is it on the list of approved RAM for the motherboard?
If neither of those work, then I'd try it in another motherboard.

I don't have access to another AM5 Motherboard.

Update bios?

Yeah I've tried that. Ram works individually in slots but the moment a second stick of ram is introduced it just errors.

Might have to RMA yours.

You could try taking it in where you bought it, if you got it from a retail store. They might be able to test it out for you if they're set up for it.

Nah It's Newegg unfortunately, this really sucks, I use my PC for work so i've been just getting by on the 1 stick of ram but like I'd like to actually get what I paid for and be able to run my two sticks haha. Gonna be without a PC for like 2 weeks.

I agree with dizmo. With how new the hardware is, its very possible your mobo had a manufacturing issue. Hope you kept the CPU Cover!
