What motherboard should i get?

Hi can you guys advise me some motherboards? Othere advice is welcome aswell like for the gpu and such.

Any z790 board will be fine for that build. 

 

Good choice on cpu and gpu however at that price I'd say get some more ssd, like a 2/3tb nvme and then fill the rest with hdd

every board i pick sais i need to upgrade bios is that normal?

Make sure to pick z790 not z690. I've just tried on an ASUS ROG mobo and it worked

Do you live near a computer store? Ask around and see if they will update the BIOS for you for free (some stores require you to buy the CPU and motherboard from them to get the fee waived), or a friend for their Alder Lake CPU. This is so you can save some money and buy a Z690 board, but if the price difference is small, just go Z790.

Ok i cant update it myself without a cpu that fits while it has stock right?
