I only see a DDR4 version no DDR5.

 

Also how much RAM are you looking for 8, 16GB?

yes it is ddr4 version
cpu-i7 12700
i dont have gpu or psu yet i am going to use pc for gaming.

At that pricepoint I would just pick the cheapest 8GBx2 Kit with a 3600MHz speed like, G.Skill RipJaws, Patriot Vipe, Corsair Vengeance and so on...

Here is a less expensive option for 16GB. I've used this kit in a few builds and haven't had any issues.

... For some reason I saw b660 instead of H610... The board only supports RAM speeds up to 3200 so I would buy the cheapest 3200 dualkit

ASUS Prime H610M-E is a pretty low end board for a 12700, it will hold back your CPU as it doesn't have good VRM and power delivery, it's designed for 12100 and 12400 that have less cores (end even then it's not very good)

tysm thank god i haven't won auction yet. b660 boards and z690s have about the same price so should i just buy the cheapest z690?

With a 12700 non K get a good B660 board like the MSI Pro A

Else any Z690 will be ok but overkill for your CPU

Get a Z690 if you can, I hope Z390 was a typo, Z390 boards are not compatible.
