ASUS Prime H610M-E is a pretty low end board for a 12700, it will hold back your CPU as it doesn't have good VRM and power delivery, it's designed for 12100 and 12400 that have less cores (end even then it's not very good)

Full system specs and use case for the computer please? And is it the DDR4 version?

tysm thank god i haven't won auction yet. b660 boards and z690s have about the same price so should i just buy the cheapest z690?

With a 12700 non K get a good B660 board like the MSI Pro A

Else any Z690 will be ok but overkill for your CPU

Get a Z690 if you can, I hope Z390 was a typo, Z390 boards are not compatible.
