I'm looking for a new monitor with 1440p to my 3070 Suprim X, today I own a Asus TUF Vg279q1a, (eu name) and I've come across this one Acer Nitro XV320QULV IPS QHD 170 Hz, is it a good monitor or should I look into others like LG, ASUS or Samsung?

When it comes to monitors, the specs of the panel; i.e. resolution, refresh rate, response time, brightness, and panel type- are factors that come into play in making a decision to purchase. Otherwise, look at videos and read customer reviews on them to make sure others don't have issues or experience a common defect that is affecting a model.

This looks like a typical 1440 panel with a higher refresh rate (170 Hz).

The best approach is to give us your budget, use case and region. Then we can make recommendations for good models. While the monitors you mentioned could be good, there might be better ones you just don't know about.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Good options around that price include the Gigabyte M27Q-P or LG 27GP850-B. Pricing varies a lot across europe though, so what are the main retailers you can buy from?

Would always recommend you go for an LG monitor over Gigabyte but the M27Q should be fine if you get a decent panel and if it's cheaper than the LG.
