dude im also sick of randomness like go check my last ques i posted rn cuz im havin issues too.

Hello!
I've stumbled up on a problem that i have no idea how to fix. My pc is a constant 70C while idling which makes me think that maybe the cooler is broken or that there is at least a problem with it. I got msi afterburner to check temps in game and saw that it doesn't go above 78C full load in games either. I've tried to reapply thermalpaste and reseat the cooler but it didn't do much.
Help would be appreciated! 🙂

What cooler are u using? If u have a Ryzen 9 5950X u should be having atleast a good air cooler or a aio to keep the temps low.

If thats not an issue then check task manager if in case it is using a lot of resources while idleing(happened to my ssd once had to reinstall windows).also, remove ur cpu cooler and clean all the thermal paste from both cooler and cpu and then reapply and if u hav access to another cooler try it to make sure its not ur cooler causing the issue which is generally not the case.

but the cooler is clearly not the problem here since it doesn't really increase in temps a lot

Yes the cooler is optimal its probably the block of the aio which may be causing the issue try another cooler if u hav access to it(any cooler would do) once u try reseat ur cooler once again and if u see a clear difference then its ur aio if its under warranty try to get it rmaed

The cpu isn't idling if there are so many things running. Temps are fine.
