So about a week ago I got a new gpu and when I tested games it wasnt even running at 50% usage. At the time I thought it was the psu because I only had a 450w and it said recommended 500w. Got a new psu and same problem. I have reset windows, did a clean  gpu driver install with ddu, updated chipset drivers and other stuff also pretty sure its not a bottle neck. Here are my specs

Ryzen 5 2600 stock cooler

RTX 2060 6g

512g ssd

Gigabyte b450m ds3h v2

16g ddr4 3200mhz ram

Thermal take 700w 80+

At this point dont know what to do so any help would be much apreciated.

Umm well the settings dont change to much but resolution does 1440p and 4k is 100% use but I dont think its a bottle neck but could be. some times the cpu is more sometimes the gpu is more and a lot of the times they both stay around the same percent but either one dont go above 60 maybe the cpu might

You either need to quote people or mention them like @johnt, otherwise they aren't notified you replied. Low GPU usage is usually a sign that you're CPU bound.

The CPU usage you see can be misleading, because the game may only be using a few cores and e.g. ~16% usage on a six-core CPU means one core could be running at 100%. If the game can't use more than one core then you're CPU bound, even though usage seems low.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

I did a little research on YT and your CPU/GPU combo should not be bottlenecking each other. That's why I was asking specifically about the game bc there's been a few bad apples lately that have not given results as we would expect. Like valorant or whatever it's called.

If you have not yet tried triple A titles like Cyberpunk, Witcher, any Ubisoft game (Farcry, AC, etc.) then it is worth giving it a shot. You need something to really stress your GPU to determine if the CPU is the bottleneck. It certainly could be in older titles and GPU-weak games.
