Ok sorry this might be a longer post at least for me while messing around with one of my screwdrivers on occasion either I have a couple teeth that have rough spots or the pawl on the ratchet is landing on the top of a couple of the teeth and when you go to turn the screw screwdriver you can most of the time when it does it you can feel it on rare occasions you can hear it when the pawl snaps back onto a tooth. Now it might just be some what per the design I know they tweaked it a fare bit but I have a couple of the mega pros that these are based on and one happens every 6 revolutions or so the other one not nearly as much. So maybe it will smooth out but if it is rough spots if to much material comes off will just gum up the mechanism. If I turn it real so both directions all teeth feel ok only a couple times while doing this one tooth when the pawl rides up it hesitates ever so slightly. Just wanted to throw this out there and get others thoughts.
