GPU & monitors for new build

Budget (including currency): $500-$1200 for GPU (if the higher end of budget is not needed that would be preferred)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CSGO, MW2, some video editing, and a bit of AutoCAD

 

 

I need help picking out a GPU and a dual monitor setup.  I don't mind spending a bit of extra cash to future proof this for a bit as my current rig is 8+ years old.  I also don't plan on dropping 5k on 2 monitors and 1 GPU.  Any help would be appreciated on a nice balance between price and performance with the currently purchased parts below. 

 

 

Currently purchased parts

Case: Fractal Torrent

MB: MSI PRO Z690-a ddr4

Chip: i5 13600k

Memory: Corsair ddr4 2x32gb 3200MHz

Storage: Samsung 980 pro 4.0 nvme m.2 2tb

PS: Corsair RM850x 

Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i

For that price with monitor, I’d probably say around a 3070/3080. I can’t really suggest monitors as I don’t know what you want in terms of size, quality and other stuff. 
 

I’m also from the UK so can’t really go for an exact price because I don’t know what the prices are.

Since you don't mind spending money, I'd definitely look at the upper end of your budget for a GPU and 2 monitors.  2 1440p monitors will run about $500, leaving $700 for a GPU.  I'd look at the 3070-3080, or 6800xt or 6950xt.

My main concern is over spending on the GPU if the CPU isn't powerful enough to support it.

The 13600K can support any GPU, including the 4090.  You're fine.
