What is this in my pcie slot

Go to solution Solved by CommanderAlex,

Looks like maybe dust in the slot near the notch of the PCIe slot? Just use something that you can blow it out with.

Built a new pc last week and works perfectly , took out my gpu today as I wanted to spray paint the sag bracket and while I’m waiting for it to dry I notched the pcie slot didn’t look correct , am I reading to mcuh into this ? Will plug in my gou when the sag bracket has dried to test but I’m a bit worried as this is all new

I see nothing wrong here. What exactly are you worried about?

Please mark as solved if I answered your question.

So top pcie slot near the sliver part , just above the cmos battery - does it look burnt ? Again maybe this is my mind playing tricks
