LG OLED Netflix Issue

Hi guys,

 

So, after powering through the 4th season of Drive to Survive this morning whilst getting the last of my prezzy wrapping done, I noticed that from EP 7 onwards things got really choppy (both video and audio). This particular model is the 65C6V from 2016 and I can confirm it there isn't any issues on either the C1 or C2 LGs as I have them as well.

 

My internet is gigabit fibre and is working perfectly so its not a bandwidth issue. Netflix seems to detect the speed of my connection quickly as I don't notice the stream cycle between quality modes and seems to go straight to the max.

 

Power cycling the TV didn't help and its only affecting the latter stages of S4 Drive to Survive. I tried a small selection of other titles, HD, UHD, HDR and DV without issue.

 

With this particular TV, using the Netflix app on my SkyQ box is the solution but not an ideal one as there is a noticeable drop in overall quality between that an the LG apps.

 

Any ideas?

Sometimes I have to completely unplug my TV from the wall to get a good reset done. Turning off and back on via the remote wont solve it, but a deep power cycle might help.
