2nd build issues and questions

Hello, hopefully this is the right place to put this. Working on a fresh machine and i had some issues and questions.

PC Parts

Cooler manual

Novice giving it another shot, but facing issues with the cooler. I made sure to check compatibility and the box is even labeled with LGA 1700 support. But it shipped with the older "X" mounting bracket, oddly enough it does mount and feels flush. I'm wondering how important the bracket is and if it can cause a short.

Also with the front power panel/USB/front audio do i need hook the cables up to the buttons or are they those three cables that were already installed? I recall seeing these 1 pin cables for audio (on my first build) but i don't see them anywhere.

Lastly I've been researching the issue with the 4090. I was told to really get the power cable in and i watched a few videos like the Gamer's Nexus test. But I'm confused if wiggling the cable in (such as involuntarily wiggling from applying force) would cause issue or not.

Thanks.
