is the RTX 3060 ti price gonna come down by november next year after the 4060 releasing? They are still currently around 700-850 AUD. If you reckon they will come down by how much would you guess?

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

If there are still any 3060 Ti cards in stock in 11 months, I'm sure they will be discounted quite heavily, but they aren't going to be in stock that much longer. The 3080 and up are getting scarce at retailers. The 3070 is starting to go out of stock now, too. The 3060 Ti will be next. Nvidia's plan of moving their remaining 30 series inventory by pricing the 4080 so high is going exactly as planned.

GPUs usualy go up in price (new) when newer cards are released because the demand goes down so if you want cheap 3060ti you will have to look at 2nd hand market which you can do right now as well and you can already find them for almost 1/2 the price of new anyways.

Think price will b up because they're won't be much stock if at all, and the new card will be (I expect) $200 more expensive...Look at 3080s theyre already in shortage

If you want that level of performance, have you considered the 6700XT? It's actually slightly faster than the 3060Ti except in ray tracing; its ray tracing performance rivals the 3060 non-Ti. There's a Sapphire Pulse verison available for $600AUD. There's also the RX 6700 non-XT available from a bunch of retailers for $480AUD - although its performance level vs the 6700XT is a bit inconsistent, varying from game to game. It's sometimes close to the 6700XT and sometimes close to the 6600XT and sometimes right in the middle.

I was thinking about checking out the 6700xt, thanks for the heads up.

in Germany it's the other way around,  they will be randomly cheap, but a soon there are only a few left, prices will skyrocket... gotta milk those pesky collectors or something im guessing...

it really sucks when you want to buy an outdated product thinking it'll be cheaper... nope! Mr Scalper will make sure of that!  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
