how much are you paying for said 580 these are not worth much these days espicially in used condition.

Judging the fact it looks like a problem on the PCIE lanes it prob wont hurt anything but also probably won't boot.

LTT had a gpu like this in the buying used gpus on ebay video and it was unfixable (they got lucky and were able to use the card in 8x mode but this looks like that temp fix may not work.)

Short answer Yes that missing component is important.

I'm not entirely sure if it's related to PCIE stability or power draw related from what I can vaguely remember.

Kris-Fix Germany has a lot of great videos on YT about board repair and this may actually be a simple fix depending on your soldering ability.

(My above guess was based on something he said in a board repair video but I have no hope of finding the video.)

Those are AC coupling capacitors. In short they block out any DC signal that tries to go on the PCI-E data lines.

These capacitors are in series with the traces, so because that capacitor has essentially be removed that trace is disconnected. I don't think the GPU will boot but you're welcome to try.

I did pay 68 euro, i can get money back or they must resend replacement. Just wanted to check will it at least boot 😄 Aliexpress has good protection about these stuff so i dont think it will be problem but who knows, everything is possible 🙂

I dont plan to do something like this, seller did tell me to go to repair shop and ask them but i know that its not worth paying for this because even if i repair this its not 100% sure that this GPU will work after repairing that

I will try and see what will happen but if i'm understanding, this little thing is important and wont work without it 🙂
