i have an old pc and am looking to upgrade it a bit but i dont know if the slots in my motherboard are DDR3 or DDR4 would it be a problem if i put ddr4 ram in a probably ddr3 slot?

RAMs are not backwards or forwards compatible. You cant. It matters what you got.

Yeah if you want you could slap two more 4gb sticks ( preferably at the same/similar speeds, you need them all at the same speed) of ddr3

cheap used gpu like gtx 1050ti would be night and day difference. or used 1650

.ye i found a 1660ti for 135euro so i am looking to buy it but that means i also need to upgrade my psu.
