Air pressure

Go to solution Solved by Sarra,

If you want positive pressure, set your exhaust fans to a lower RPM than the intake fans.

I have my motherboard set to match my intake fans with my CPU fans, which does kinda suck when gaming since my GPU gets hotter, though not quite enough to make that much difference.

I wish I had a fan header on my GPU, I could run my lower front intake fan off the header and have my GPU control that fan, leaving the top fan to match my CPU, giving me a better, overall, cooling solution.

I don't have an exhaust fan anymore, my CPU cooler is so close to the rear of my case, it's basically an exhaust fan all on it's own. Plus, there's no more room for another fan back there...

There is no hard and fast "positive pressure is best"

Even LTT did a video on it, and the results were very inconclusive.  It mostly depends on the case what fan setup works best.

And regardless, positive, or negative, pressure you'll still end up with dust in your case.  it's gonna happen.

i now that postive air pressure is the best but what will happen if ill do 3 intake fans and 3 fans pushing air out will that mean that ill get dust in the small holes or will it be the same as Positve  air pressure

assuming you have dustfilters infront of the intake fans, you won't have positive pressure.
if you really want positive pressure setup then 2 exhaust fans are enough, 1xrear, 1xtop exhaust.
