is this worth $1400 and how well would it run arma 3?

GTX 570 is super dated and doesn't run games very well any more, and ArmA games aren't well optimized even for fast computers.

Get a more modern gpu. 570 is ancient and worth poo. If you're just playing games get something more like a 4570k not a 3770. It ain't worth it.

That should run ARMA 2/3 just fine on med/high, because the CPU is not OC able. My CPU is OC:d to 4.2Ghz and i do think that it makes a massive difference in ARMA. But still you will be fine.

Look at my sig, i am able to run arma 3 Max with 4000 render distance and 2000 object render distance (shadows only 50m). I cant remember my ARMA 2 settings but it runs just fine as well.
