If you have multiple drivers (drive through the night, no hotels required) it can be more economical to drive depending on the number of people and the cost to ship computers if attending a LAN.

That's still a pretty extreme drive but you're right, if you have the right crew you can do it.  And a valid point on the baggage.

 

I'm simply taking nothing more to LTX than a laptop and my Steam Deck, since I don't really trust Air Canada with any kind of desktop PC as checked baggage.

I know this thread kind of fizzled in January, but I just wanted to chime in as someone in Ohio . . . I'd love something a wee bit closer.  Keep it in Canada!  Do LTX Niagara Falls . . . or Toronto . . . it would make my nerd-heart sing!
