Lian Li Galahad UNI Fan Connection

Hi everyone -

 

I'm in the middle of building my new rig, but i've never used Lian Li fans nor an AIO.

 

I have the galahad uni fan version - should all cables go into the controller? or should the aio go into the motherboard?

 

I have a b550 tomohawk but when I put the header into the motherboard under cpu fan I get no RGB - however the fans do spin (loudly).

 

Is it wrong to have both the fans from the aio and the aio itself plugged into the controller?
