VBC.exe usually is some variant of a trojan. Named like it because of MS Visual Basic, which has a a vbc.exe file in. However MS Visual Basic will not connect to the internet and I am unsure if it would even run on current versions of Windows, the latest iterations is over 20 years old.

Either remove it with bitdefender or use a dedicated tool like malwarebytes antimalware (free to use). It's a trojan not a virus so as long as you disconnect from the internet, in cannot pull stuff and you should be fine. To be safe, make sure to run a fill AV scan on your system.

A lot of virii sit in your temp folders, empty your temp folders even in C:\<users>\Appdata. Do not reboot before cleanup as (results vary) sometimes they install themselves and will activate as a valid program on reboot. Open Task Manager that shows running processes, those with a bad name attempt end task. If they come back they installed a service on your system and will give you a problem deleting and ending task. Must disable the service first and stop it. Then end programs, then delete all bad files.
