Hi guys

I'm going crazy and getting a GTX 780 But I'm wondering witch one should i chooses GTX780 SC or GTX 780 Dual FTW ?

It seems FTW has higher clock speed and is double BIOS

Here is the link for both

It's really not going to matter which way you go. They're both going to perform pretty equally. Pick the one that looks nicer to you.

go MENTAL and get a 780ti :P

no but seriously get what looks the best, they are pretty much exactly the same performance. the dual bios might help if you are super into tinkering and OCing but really not much difference

I'd go for the FTW because of the fan. ACX is a bit quieter and does run cooler than the reference blower. Also your link is taking me to the EVGA main products page for some reason.

But, yeah. Whichever is clocked higher and whichever has an ACX is my vote.

Super clocked(with ACX cooler) should be clocked a bit higher on the core out of the box so that's what i would go for, but still the difference is less than margin, what ever feels like it mate ;)

Thanks for fixing it. I think you'd be happy with either or.

From what I've read up on the two, the FTW does not use a reference design PCB. While the SC does use a reference design PCB. If you ever plan on doing a full loop water cooled system, go SC as it will have many more options available with waterblocks. If not, go FTW.

i dont think i will go full loop but i had the idea that in few months i would get something like a H50 AIO and use that on it

You'd have to contact whomever makes the mounting equipment that you'll use to attach an H50. I would think that would be fine, given the clearance between the die and surrounding components. But, yeah, you'd have to talk to whomever manufacturs the mounting equipment.

Example: Kraken G10 says that their compatibility list is only based on reference board designs. So trying it on an FTW is at your own risk.

So in this case, either contact the company or person that is making the mounting hardware or go with the SC to be on the safe side.
